Many downtown shops will have sales from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days; a big warehouse sale at the Old Town Hall (20 Main St.) from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday will also feature sale items from some of the participating stores. Markdowns will include Cape Cod-themed jewelry and new spring goods from Nest; Alice + Olivia, DVF, and other designer duds from Dresscode; and boxed stationery, gourmet food items, and tableware from Soirée. The Fashion at the Fox pop-up sale returns to the Fox Library in Arlington Friday night and Saturday. For the price of a movie ticket, you may be able to pick up a new outfit. Find rack upon rack of contemporary and vintage women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories from a range of brands (Gap, Ann Taylor, J.Jill, Free People, to name a few), with separates and shoes selling for around $4, suits for $5-$8, and jewelry for around $1.50. Home wares will be on offer as well. Sale proceeds benefit the Friends of the Fox Library.
