The Cape is covered with spectacular natural landscapes, but Mass Audubon’s Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary in Cummaquid takes your breath away. The convergence of beaches, meadows, and trails earned its familiar description as a “million dollar view.” Join the staff on a special stand-up paddleboard excursion into Barnstable Harbor. Gear and lessons are provided.

Noon-2 p.m. 345 Bone Hill Road, Barnstable. $45 ($50 nonmembers). Pre-registration required. www.massaudubon.org
