It was his 6½-year-old daughter’s double dipping into an ice cream carton that inspired Dean Chapman, who runs the housewares company Prepara, to invent the Super Scooper (four in lime green, orange, pink, and yellow for $9.99). With daughter Sophie’s help, he designed a scoop you can eat from. The little utensil has a loop handle that’s easy for small hands to grip, and the shape makes the sweet treat not only more fun to lick but also spill-proof. Kids and parents can grab and go and not mess with a leaky cone or dish and spoon.
