Baked chickpeas may be unlikely challengers to displace potato chips from their salty throne, but chickpeas have the potential to at least coexist on the snack racks. Biena Roasted Chickpeas ($2.59 to $3.75 for a 2-ounce bag) stand apart from other legume munchies, such as edamame, peas, and peanuts. They come in three mildly seasoned flavors — sea salt, cinnamon-maple, and lime-chili — and are far lower in fat than say, dry-roasted peanuts. Biena Foods is a Boston-based company run by Poorvi Patodia, 35, originally from Mumbai. These roasted treats are surprisingly light and pleasantly sweet. They pass the crunch test and leave no oily fingers, salty flakes, or other evidence you’ve been snacking. Available at American Provisions, 613 East Broadway, South Boston,
