Add this pumpkin puree to everything from soup to dessert

In fall you can’t help but get a hankering to add pumpkin to everything from soup to desserts. Making puree from the gourd is a time-consuming undertaking, and canned pumpkin often tastes tinny. A new choice is the organic pumpkin puree from Pacific Natural Foods ($2.99 to $3.69 for 17.6 ounces). It comes in Tetra Recart packaging, an eco-friendly paper carton. The puree is thick, creamy, and tastes like homemade. You may find yourself swirling it into yogurt or oatmeal.
