Recipe for Spanish tomato bread

Serves 4

1 crusty loaf, thinly sliced, slices halved or quartered if large
2 cloves garlic, halved
3 medium tomatoes, halved, seeded, and grated on a box grater
Olive oil (for sprinkling)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Few sprigs fresh oregano, leaves removed
