Where to pick your own strawberries

Jon Chase for the Boston Globe/file

The following list, organized by town, offers some pick-your-own farms. Many supply containers for an additional fee; at most places you can use your own. Children are welcome at these farms and should be supervised. Directions are from Boston. For more information go to www.mass.gov/agr/massgrown and click on strawberry PYO farms under the Massgrown map search tab. Before you head out, call ahead to see if berries are ripe.
