There’s no shortage of great places to get a scoop, but for those looking for something a little luxurious, consider the pop-up Four Seasons Scoops in the hotel’s lobby. You’ll find ice cream ($6 per scoop, $3 each additional scoop) Wednesdays through Sundays until Sept. 8. Maine purveyor Gifford’s Ice Cream is supplying top-notch New England flavors like Maine wild blueberry and Maine deer tracks (espresso ice cream, Heath Bar, and chocolate fudge). Four Seasons’ executive pastry chef Tim Fonseca is supplying homemade toppings (each scoop comes with your choice of one), and may churn his own ice cream this summer. Every Friday, five free scoops will be given away on Twitter
(@FSBoston). Summer’s giving the other three seasons a run for their money. Four Seasons Hotel Boston, 200 Boylston St.,
Back Bay, Boston, 617-338-4400.
