An eco-friendly loofah to scrub that pot

The most humble of kitchen necessities just got a little greener with the new Flip loofah scrubber sponges (3-pack for $5.99 to $7.99) from Full Circle, a New York company making eco-friendly cleaning tools. Scrub dishes with the loofah side, made from a gourd-like plant, and flip to wipe the counter top with the absorbent cellulose side. The loofah is tough but won’t scratch a nonstick surface or wine glass. The sponge doubles in size when wet and can be disinfected in the microwave. When it’s time to toss it, it will biodegrade.
