    Recipe for Mai Tai cocktail

    Makes 1

    1 ounce Jamaican-style rum

    1 ounce aged rum

    ½ ounce Grand Marnier

    ½ ounce simple syrup

    ¾ ounce orgeat (almond) syrup

    1 ounce fresh lime juice

    1 sprig fresh mint

    ½ orange slice

    1. In a glass, combine the rums, Grand Marnier, simple and orgeat syrup, and lime juice with 1 ice cube. Shake well.

    2. Strain into a tiki or double old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with mint and orange.
