Recipe for jam-walnut filling

Serves 4

1cup strawberry or raspberry jam, orange marmalade, or another fruit spread or butter
cups walnut pieces, ground (to make 1 cup)
½cup sugar
¼cup rum or orange liqueur or other liqueur
½cup heavy cream, softly whipped

1. When filling pancakes, spread with jam, sprinkle with walnuts, then sugar, then rum or liqueur.

2. Follow rolling instructions in Romanian pancake recipe. Add a spoonful of cream to each pancake.
