Boston chefs to help raise funds for families of fallen firefighters

Some of Boston’s best chefs will gather to help raise money for the families of Lt. Edward Walsh and Firefighter Michael Kennedy, who died in the recent Back Bay blaze. United for Boston’s Own happens on Monday, April 14.

Sample dishes from Clio, Coppa, and Toro’s Ken Oringer, Blue Dragon and Blue Ginger’s Ming Tsai, Mike’s City Diner’s Jay Hajj, Tico’s Michael Schlow, Toro’s Mike Smith, Oishii’s Ting Yen, Coppa and Toro’s Jamie Bissonnette, Alden & Harlow’s Michael Scelfo, and Clio’s Monica Glass.


Tickets for the nine-course, seated dinner cost $500, and there are just 60 seats available. The dinner happens at Mike’s City Diner at 1714 Washington St.

All proceeds go toward the Walsh-Kennedy Memorial Fund. Buy them at Eventbite.
