You know Boston Calling has great music (Eminem, the Killers, Jack White). Well, the food is excellent, too. The festival announced its restaurant lineup this morning, with more than 150 delicious-sounding menu items, craft beer, and wine. The big weekend is May 25-27 at the Harvard Athletic Complex.
New this year: Wood-fired pizza from Area Four, sandwiches from chef Steve “Nookie” Postal at Commonwealth, sweets from Union Square Donuts, falafel from the Chubby Chickpea, and snacks from Jaju Pierogi.
Also on the general admission lineup: barbecue from The Smoke Shop, Belgian waffles from Zinneken’s, tacos from El Pelon, and burgers from Tasty Burger. Health-inclined concert-goers can slurp FoMu vegan ice cream and feast on veggie bowls from Whole Heart Provisions.
VIP and platinum guests get to chill at a Boardwalk Lounge with sandwiches from Puritan & Company’s Will Gilson, sliders from Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and poke bowls from Love Art Sushi, plus a seafood station from Island Creek Oysters, a fried chicken sandwich bar from Sweet Cheeks’ Tiffani Faison, and husky hot dogs and a carving station from Boston Chops chef Chris Coombs.
