Dr. Daniel Carlat to lead Pew Prescription Project

Dr. Daniel Carlat, a Newburyport psychiatrist and a vocal advocate for exposing the influence of drugmakers in medicine and in his field, in particular, announced this week that he is headed to Washington, D.C., to lead the Pew Charitable Trust’s Prescription Project, which is focused on making doctors’ relationships with the drug and device industry more transparent.
