Harvard Medical School opens center for primary care, appoints director

Using a $30 million anonymous gift, Harvard Medical School has opened a center to redesign primary care, which is creating a new training program for residents as one of its first projects. The medical school said Wednesday that it has hired Dr. Russell S. Phillips as director of the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care. Dr. Andrew L. Ellner was hired as co-director.
