In the last three weeks, public interest in global warming has undergone a remarkable revival. Already, environmentalists are renewing calls on Obama to reject a controversial Canadian oil pipeline and to put strict greenhouse gas emission standards in place.

Tooo funny - - Obama's was asked about his, "future plans to address global warning," at his 1st. press conference after the election. Obama stuttered, looked around and swirmed. . . obviously there was nothing on his teleprompter about global warning or talking points on the environment.
As long as Republicans remain trapped inside the right wing media echo chamber, there is no chance of bipartisan approaches to global warming because they will continue to believe that it doesn't exist.

Ironically, in Europe, opposition to fracking (and nuclear power) is causing Germany and other central EU countries to build 10,600 megawatts of new coal-fired electrical power plants during the next four years.
