Do you really think a PEDIATRIC dentist is the one to ask for an honest answer to this question? As a " survivor " of a 50's childhood [when baby teeth were allowed to grow in , and be replaced " naturally' ] , I still have all my teeth except a couple I lost traumatically. Another financial burden unnecessarily placed on young families when they could avoid the psychological damage of taking very youg children to "painless " dentists as well, in my humble opinion .
