Brigham doctors set sights on leg transplants

Hospital screening patients for a surgery that would be first of its kind in the US

Brigham and Women’s Hospital plans to perform leg transplants, in which legs from a donor would be sewn onto a patient with missing limbs. The Brigham would become the first US hospital to do such an operation.
