Daisey to debut new work at ArtsEmerson

Perhaps drawing on personal experience, Mike Daisey’s new work-in-progress is called “The Orient Express (Or, the Value of Failure),” and he’ll perform it Friday at ArtsEmerson’s Paramount Theatre. Daisey, you’ll recall, recently found himself at the center of a scandal involving his monologue on Apple’s supply chain. The Ira Glass radio show “This American Life” excerpted portions of the piece, but later retracted the episode when Daisey admitted some of his reporting was fabricated.
