The Museum of Fine Arts hosted a Wednesday afternoon celebration for the winners of an online photo contest that celebrated the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park. Six winners were chosen from 700 entries in the Red Sox and MFA-sponsored contest. The winning photos are on view in the “Grandstand to Gallery” display inside the MFA’s State Street Corporation Fenway Entrance. Last we heard, contest winners — including (above) Rosemary Sampson of Hanover and Bart Blumberg of Hull — were supposed to be recognized at Fenway before the game, but we assume that no one made them stand in the rain.
