We finally got a hold of someone at Le Cordon Bleu in Boston to ask whether Kathleen Kearney — the Canton woman charged this week with stalking former Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein in Chicago — is a librarian at their school. But all the rep would say was: “No comment.”

Kearney claimed to work at the local Le Cordon Bleu when she was arraigned in Chicago on Tuesday after being arrested near Epstein’s property there on Monday night. On a LinkedIn page for a local Kathleen Kearney, it says that Kearney stopped working for Le Cordon Bleu in February. It also says that she has degrees from Harvard and Simmons, and that her previous employers include Partners Healthcare and Brigham and Women’s Kessler Library.

Kearney, who was arrested after she approached Epstein’s wife Marie with what she said was a gift for the couple’s son, faces two counts of felony stalking. Kearney admitted to Chicago police that she was looking for Epstein, now the Chicago Cubs president, and that she had tried to find him when he worked at Fenway Park.
