Red Sox wives Kelli Pedroia, Farrah Lester, and Natalie Punto joined Sox staffers at Room to Grow Monday, delivering a few infant essentials and sorting baby clothing. (The nonprofit aimed at helping babies born into poverty is a beneficiary of 100 Acts of Kindness, a Sox philanthropy coinciding with Fenway’s 100th birthday.) The ballplayers’ better halves were welcomed by Robyn Carter, Room to Grow’s new executive director, and chief executive Saskia Epstein, sister-in-law of former Sox GM Theo Epstein. . . . . Pats player Dane Fletcher stopped by Boston Children’s Hospital Monday, bringing books to the patients in their rooms.
