Yes, that was celebrity DJ (and TV personality/producer/recording artist) Clinton Sparks standing behind a camera on Graymore Road in Waltham this week. The Grammy nominee was busy co-directing (with Patrick Burns) a video for his new single “Language (Let’s Drive),” about a pair of young lovers who run away together after telling the girl’s parents she’s pregnant. Who plays the disapproving dad in the video? The director’s father, George Sparks. . . . Stylist-to-the-stars Dean Mellen, who splits his time between New York and Patrice Vinci’s salon on Newbury Street, fixed Roseanne Barr’s hair before the comedian’s appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show this week. . . .
