Berklee College of Music act Karmin fights Rita Ora for Rolling Stone cover

Charles Sykes/Invision/AP

British singer Rita Ora is the only musician standing in the way of local pop act Karmin taking over the back cover of Rolling Stone. The magazine has been running a “Women Who Rock” poll to determine which up-and-coming female-fronted act will get the backside of its late September issue, and Ora and Karmin (which is fronted by former Berklee College of Music student Amy Heidemann, right) are the final two contenders. You can vote for Karmin (because you have to vote local, right?) at www.rolling
