Music fans got two blasts from the past Saturday night. “Jessie’s Girl” singer Rick Springfield headlined at the Hatch Shell, where he performed about an hour and a half of classic hits, new songs, and two tunes written by Paul McCartney (“Can’t Buy Me Love” and “Jet”). During his performance of his own chart-topper “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” Springfield brought young concertgoer Sophie Pastore onstage (top right) and asked her to help him sing the chorus. . . . While Springfield had fans swooning, Color Me Badd, of “I Wanna Sex You Up” fame, performed at Saturday’s Saint Agrippina Di Mineo Feast in the North End. Badd singer Kevin Thornton tweeted during his stay, “Much love 2 BENEVENTO’S in Boston! GREAT Italian food!”
