Boston Casting put the word out on Wednesday afternoon that the producers of the Kate Winslet movie “Labor Day” are seeking vintage cars for scenes that will be filmed around Haverhill on Thursday morning. The cars should be from the 1970s and ’80s, and their owners should be prepared to work as extras. If you see this before Thursday afternoon and want to volunteer your ride, you can e-mail bos
tonperiodcars@gmail.com. If you see this after Thursday afternoon, you might want to check in anyway. Boston Casting has been seeking cars from this era throughout the summer.
