Bobby Brown, whose battles with the bottle are well-documented, is apparently back in rehab. TMZ reports that the Roxbury-bred singer, who rose to fame as a member of the boy band New Edition and later married superstar singer Whitney Houston, has checked himself into rehab to deal with alcohol addiction. RadarOnline says Brown’s wife, Alicia Etheredge, confirmed the news, but claims Bobby is “doing great.” Our attempts to reach Etheredge, who also serves as Brown’s manager, were unsuccessful. Brown was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in March, not long after Houston, to whom he was married for 14 years and with whom he had one child, was discovered dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
