Reps from the new Ovation television series “A Chance to Dance” will be at Jacob’s Pillow on Friday at 5 p.m. to talk about the show and how it was filmed at the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Becket. “A Chance to Dance” follows UK choreographers and former Royal Ballet dancers Michael Nunn and William Trevitt as they try to create a dance company in 28 days. Nunn and Trevitt had actually visited Jacob’s Pillow long before filming the show; their group Ballet Boyz was a part of the Pillow’s 2008 festival. “A Chance to Dance” is produced by Nigel Lythgoe, who’s responsible for the much-watched Fox series “So You Think You Can Dance.” After you finish the “PillowTalk” event, you can go home and watch the first episode of
“A Chance to Dance” at 10.
