A shout-out to Sam Vaghar, founder of the Boston-based Millennium Campus Network, which next month will celebrate five years of tackling the issue of global poverty. The student group is marking the occasion on Sept. 15 with an awards ceremony at Northeastern’s Fenway Center honoring 2011 Nobel Peace Prize winner Leymah Gbowee, USAID chief economist Steve Radelet, Oxfam America VP Paul O’Brien, and Timor-Leste’s Finance Minister Emilia Pires.
