Congrats to No. 9 Park mix master Ted Kilpatrick, who killed it at this week’s bartender challenge at Julep Bar. The event, sponsored by the folks at Appleton Estate and judged by Brother Cleve, Kate Palmer, last year’s winner Sean Frederick, pitted Kilpatrick — dressed in a bizarre Spider-Man-like get-up — against fellow bartenders Sam Treadway (Backbar), Jason Kilgore (Catalyst), Kevin Mabry (JM Curley), and Tyler Wang (No. 9 Park). One of Kilpatrick’s concoctions was a cocktail called “Organized Noise,” which he prepared to the sounds of TLC’s “Waterfalls.” He’ll battle bartenders from Miami, San Francisco, and New York next month.
