As part of Microsoft’s big retail opening in Boston, Lenny Kravitz performed a free show at the Bank of America Pavilion on Saturday night. Kravitz has spent much of his summer acting on the set of “The Butler,” a Lee Daniels drama that features Minka Kelly as Jackie Kennedy and Melissa Leo (“The Fighter”) as Mamie Eisenhower. Soon enough, Kravitz be back in fictional Panem to star as Cinna in the sequel to “The Hunger Games.”
