The Bay State’s Mindy Kaling celebrated her new Fox sitcom, “The Mindy Project,” with friends in West Hollywood on Saturday night. The guest list for the bash at Skybar in honor of the Buckingham Browne & Nichols graduate included former Berklee College of Music student John Mayer, Newton native B.J. Novak (who helped produce Kaling’s show), “Parks and Recreation” star Aziz Ansari, singer and writer Hilary Duff, and Kaling’s former costars on “The Office,” Angela Kinsey and Ellie Kemper.
