The Kendall Square Cinema hosted a screening last week of “Angels Around Me,” the local movie by Stephen “Stix” Josey (above), who picked up the best first time director award at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival in June. Based on what we’ve seen in the “Angels Around Me” trailer, the movie features nice cars, guns, music, men in suits, and some really nice shots of Dorchester and Boston’s skyline.
