The great Liza Minnelli surprised the audience at Tanglewood over the weekend by joining Michael Feinstein for a performance of “New York, New York.” Tony Award winners Betty Buckley and Christine Ebersole also performed during the Sunday afternoon show, which closed Tanglewood’s 75th anniversary season. According to the Internet Movie Database, Minnelli will reprise her character Lucille Austero in the new season of “Arrested Development.” That (and the fact that Minnelli appears to be barefoot in this picture) makes us very happy.
