The Truro Agricultural Fair was the place to be over the weekend. Actress Lili Taylor of “Mystic Pizza” (and, more recently, “Six Feet Under”) fame was watching the pie-eating contest while writer/editor Daniel Okrent was spied carrying around a large plant. We didn’t see Dan Winslow, but the former chief legal counsel to Governor Mitt Romney was there because he tweeted about watching the fair’s newest feature — the Zucchini 500. . . . We’re told legal eagle F. Lee Bailey, whose clients included Sam Sheppard, Patty Hearst, and O.J. Simpson, spent the long weekend at the Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee. Bailey gave a talk as part of the club’s speaker series and also dined with a crowd that included Willowbend’s new owner David Southworth — he also owns Meredith Village on Lake Winnipesaukee and Renaissance Golf Club in Haverhill — as well as former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt, and Boston City Council president Steve Murphy and his new bride, Bridget. . . . Actor Marlon Wayans dined at Strega Waterfront last night.
