Don Carney and John Ross, the Cambridge-based jewelry makers, artists, and home goods designers who call themselves Patch NYC, walked the red carpet in New York this week as Target hosted a party shopping event for celebs and industry VIPs. As part of the retailer’s Shops at Target program highlighting offerings from small companies, Ross (far left) and Carney have designed more than 50 home products — stationery, pillows, rugs, lamps, and barware, among other stuff — that will be sold at more than 1,700 Target stores. The Patch NYC pair mingled with celebs such as Jessica Chastain, Brooklyn Decker, Lauren Bush Lauren , and Jessica Seinfeld.
