“The Good Wife” star Josh Charles will be in Boston later this month to pick up the Ally for Equality Award at this year’s Human Rights Campaign New England Dinner. The “Dead Poets Society” actor — who the HRC calls “a fierce advocate for LGBT equality” — is also listed as a guest speaker for the event, which will be held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place on Sept. 22. Charles’s partner is writer and former New York City Ballet dancer Sophie Flack , who’s from Watertown.
