Just days after revealing to fans on her blog that she spent the summer receiving treatment for breast cancer, author and Martha’s Vineyard celebrity Judy Blume celebrated the film adaptation of her book “Tiger Eyes” at the Martha’s Vineyard International Film Festival. Blume attended the opening reception of the festival (pictured) and the Saturday-night screening of “Tiger Eyes,” which was directed by her son Lawrence . The film stars Willa Holland , of “The O.C.” and “Gossip Girl,” as Blume’s heroine Davey.
