Firefighter Reaksmey Keo, of Dorchester, was one of the brave locals who participated in a Charity Date Auction at Gypsy Bar on Friday night. The event benefited Project Smile, which delivers toys and games to children who have experienced trauma. The event — which was hosted by Bridget Blythe and Steve Aveson of NECN — raised about $14,000 for the cause. Firefighter Kaitlyn Shinney brought in the highest bid of the night; a date with her went for $900.
