By all accounts, the Millennium Campus Conference was a great success. The event organized by Millennium Campus Network founder Sam Vaghar and attended by over 1,200 college students addressed issues of global poverty, education, and health care. Speakers and honorees included Dr. Paul Farmer of Partners in Health, Columbia professor Jeffrey Sachs, 2011 Nobel Peace Prize winner Leymah Gbowee, and USAID chief economist Steve Radelet.
