Following a multimillion-dollar renovation, the venerable Oak Room at the Fairmont Copley Plaza reopened with a party this week. Among the 500 or so guests checking out the new Oak Long Bar + Kitchen were Fairmont Copley Plaza GM Paul Tormey, Felcor CEO Rick Smith, Oak Long Bar chef Stefan Jarausch, authors Dennis Lehane and Ben Mezrich, TV’s Kelley Tuthill, Natalie Jacobson, Bianca de la Garza, and Janet Wu, Seaport Hotel GM Jim Carmody, XV Beacon GM Amy Finsilver, InterContinental Boston GM Tim Kirwin, Bill Belichick’s girlfriend Linda Holliday, SalonCapri’s Nick Penna, and scenemakers Doris Yaffe, Marilyn Riseman, and Smoki Bacon and Dick Concannon.
