“The Good Wife” actor Josh Charles was presented with the Ally for Equality Award at Saturday night’s Human Rights Campaign New England Dinner, which was held at the Marriott Copley. Charles, a longtime advocate for marriage equality, was joined during the night by his partner Sophie Flack, a Watertown native who danced with the New York City Ballet and wrote the young adult novel “Bunheads,” and Bob Flack, also of Watertown. Entertainment for the night was provided by Tiffany (yes, the late-’80s pop star), who’ll spend her New Year’s Eve performing at Twin River Casino in Rhode Island. Speaking of “The Good Wife,” Charles’s occasional “Good Wife” co-star Martha Plimpton won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series on Sunday night.
