A week after students at Phillips Academy, Andover, heard from Dee Dee Meyers, former press secretary for President Clinton, about the upcoming election, they got the chance to chat with Jeb Bush, former governor of Florida. Seems fair, right? Bush, who was visiting the school for the first time since graduating in ’71, talked about his time at Andover, saying that “college will seem easy after this,” and told the kids that Republicans “believe in striving for a society where there is an equality of opportunity not a guarantee of results.”
