Kevin James comedy to screen in Boston

The Massachusetts Production Coalition is hosting a special screening of the Kevin James comedy “Here Comes the Boom,” which was filmed around Quincy and Boston in 2011. The Oct. 12 event at the Loews Boston Common includes the movie and a reception, and will probably be populated by locals who worked on the film. “Here Comes the Boom” is about a high school teacher who moonlights as a mixed-martial-arts fighter to raise money for his school. The cast includes Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler. Tickets for the screening, which are $25, have to be purchased. James just promoted the movie at the Mall of America in Minnesota in Wednesday. He was joined by his MMA expert costars, including Bas Rutten.
