Ron Jeremy, St. Pauli Girl entertain in Boston

Alcohol was well represented by mascots around Boston over the weekend. Former “Big Brother” contestant and 2006 Playmate Kara Monaco (left) — who’s now the St. Pauli Girl — celebrated Oktoberfest in front of Charlies Kitchen on Sunday. And on Monday, adult film star Ron Jeremy (near right) was at Huntington Wine & Spirits to promote his Ron de Jeremy Spiced Rum. Manager Steven Rubin told us that Jeremy drew about 150 fans to the store. “He’s a celebrity I guess,” Rubin said. “For a certain age group.” Jeremy stayed late at the store so he could accommodate fans, including Ryan Beauchesne (far right) who asked Jeremy to videotape a message for his father, who’s in the ICU at Mass General. Jeremy told us that he does have a local connection. His great uncle was the proprietor of the Mandrake Bookstore in Harvard Square.
