(above) received the Desmond Tutu Social Justice Award at Saturday’s gathering of South Africa Partners. The 85-year-old singer and social activist was honored for his longtime work for humanitarian causes. Actor Danny Glover was scheduled to present the award, but work prevented him from attending the event at the Marriott Cambridge.
