Ben Affleck’s good buddy Kevin Smith, best known for directing such indie classics as “Clerks” and “Chasing Amy,” is enjoying a second act as a comedian-raconteur, and he brought his storyteller shtick to the Wilbur Theatre Saturday. Among those saying hello to the heavy-set hockey lover backstage were Barnstable-bred “American Idol” finalist SiobhanMagnus, construction kahuna Jay Cashman and his wife, producer-actress Christy Cashman, and Wilbur boss Bill Blumenreich.
