Country music superstar Jason Aldean, who has just released his fifth album, “Night Train,” was at Fenway Park Thursday to confirm something we already knew (and told you earlier this week): He will be opening his 2013 summer tour with a show at the ballpark July 13.
While standing on the field at friendly Fenway, Aldean peered out from beneath his 10-gallon hat and said he’s thrilled to be playing here.

Hee haw, talk about a fish out of water. Is Aldean so concerned with staying in character, or covering up his male pattern baldness, or does he have a herd of cattle cooling it's hooves outside on C-way St. awaiting the final drive to Faneuil Hall? I saw a picture of Aldean singing the national anthem at Turner field and he was respectfully hatless and wearing a Braves jersey. Of course you could see his male pattern baldness, so maybe that's the thing. Can't wait to see promo pix of the next round of Fenway headliners - Gene Simmons in full high-heels makeup hanging from the Coke bottles and Jay Z with his black NY flat-top and bling in front of the green monster.
