A shout-out to Hollis Shore, the Boston Public Library’s new Children’s writer in residence. Shore will spend her time working on “Saved,” a story about a young artist searching for “the music within.” Two previous recipients of the BPL’s writer-in-residence fellowship have recently published books: In March, author Hannah Barnaby published, “Wonder Show,” which she wrote during her residency, and Anna Staniszewski published her first novel, “My Very UnFairy Tale Life” last November.
