Jack and Eileen Connors and Red Sox CEO Larry Lucchino and his wife, Stacey, were just a few of the VIPs on the guest list for Tuesday night’s party at the Fairmont Copley to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Huntington Avenue branch of the YMCA. The “100 Years of Improving Lives” gala included a talk from Celtics coach Doc Rivers, who discussed the Y’s history with basketball; some humor from emcee Tony V, and a performance by YMCA kids who sang “Happy Birthday” and a little bit of “Y.M.C.A.” by the Village People.
